And the music plays on even after we’re gone

Today, just like every other day I rolled out of bed at 7:30am to grab some breakfast before trudging off to class. But something seemed, well, different. The morning seemed empty…what I had taken for granted each morning, was now gone, with no return in sight. It took me 50 minutes for something so seemingly obvious: The Fountain. Lake Osceola was calm, still, and silent.

What happens when the one constant of your day, week, year or youth disappears?

Well, Come 5pm the fountain has returned, everything seems back to normal, and the world keeps moving.

  1. As the waterfall was silent you took for granted the life it brings to your community. Will you learn that even somthing so small had you thinking about it for 50 minutes? As long as you keep that waterfall in mind, pay at least a little attention for what goes on all around you, even something as small as the waterfountian. If you pay mind to what is around you, when A seemingly constant thing in your day, week, year, or youth disappears, know this… there is ONLY ever ONE constant. Your surroundings and relationships are ALWAYS changing, no matter what. The only thing that stays constant is your being HERE, now. Your youth dissapears but YOU ARE STILL HERE. The days, weeks, and years are now gone but YOU ARE STILL HERE. I mean, we all grow and mature and change, but again, YOU ARE STILL HERE. Yes, you will grow and change as the water fountian will stop and start, but should you depend on that one ’seemingly’ constant thing to make you stop in your tracks and make you loose track of time?

Let me answer your question right now, What happens when the one constant of your day, week, year or youth disappears?
    It means that your Dead.

Please be wise and learn from one of my my mistakes, Don’t stop to think of what has changed in your life and dont dwell on that seemingly constant being gone. It isnt a constent if its not here anymore, so don’t dwell on the past and live your life to the fullest. The music play’s on even after we’re gone, true. But why stop and try to learn the ever changing melody if you can write your own lyrics?
